•  Established an independent organization, the Wolfeboro Area Recreation Association (WARA), to further recreation opportunities in the general area through the development of physical facilities. Contributed land, financial support and experience.

•  Made a major contribution to The Lakes Region Conservation Trust to assist in the Purchase of Castle in the Clouds.

•  Provided significant financial support and expertise for the purchase of Sewall Woods by The Lakes Region Conservation Trust

•  Made a financial contribution to The Lakes Region Conservation Trust for the purchase of Black Snout Mountain .

•  Provided the money to prepare four building sites to be used for manufactured housing for work force housing for people working in Wolfeboro and Tuftonboro.
